We had the job of rebuilding a section of Traditional Cobblestone walling over the Summer. Situated in the historic Brighton Pavillion Gardens. Cobbles are simply flints that have been sourced from a beach - the rounded shape created by decades of rolling around in the surf. Therefore a material commonly seen in seaside locations!

Cobbles are a challenge to lay in some way because the smooth contours don't offer the same interlocking potential that an irregular shaped field flint would. Working with the Flintman Co.
